In 2023 the county's 122 franchised auto dealers generated $846 million in sales tax revenues of which $109 million goes directly to Orange County cities.
This publication provides statistics, analysis and forecasts for the new and used vehicle sales in the Orange County market. Monthly supplements are also included with the new vehicle statistical information.
OC DEALER is the official publication of the Orange County Automobile Dealers Association. This publication is distributed quarterly and shares the latest news on upcoming events, new association programs, and legislative matters. Each newsletter contains a special message from the association president and provides a recap on recent events.
Once a year, working in conjunction with Auto Outlook, Inc., the Association provides members, legislators and the media with the Orange County Economic Impact Report conveying the vital impact our dealerships have on Orange County’s economy. The report is compiled based on data collected from new vehicle dealerships throughout Orange County, as well as government sources.
