OCADA High School Automotive Competition
 One of the most pressing needs in the automotive industry is to attract quality young individuals to automotive careers. The Automotive Technology Competition is an exciting way to introduce young adults to the automotive industry. We pair up students and dealerships to offer a first hand look at a career in automotive technology and better prepare them for this grueling, hands-on competition. The best and the brightest of the Orange County competition will go on to compete in the National Automotive Technology Competition at the New York Auto Show.
This program has proven to be an excellent opportunity for OCADA dealer members to build relationships with students, local schools, instructors and the community. All participants are awarded scholarships at local community colleges with automotive technology programs. A large number of students who participate in the competition pursue a career in the automotive technology – and many are now employed with their mentor dealership.
